Ok, this is probably a ridiculous question, but this is my first year with a membership, and I can't say the Swans website is particularly easy to follow for new members, so here it is:

If I have a Red Zone membership, I'm not required to buy a ticket, am I? It's like a SCG membership for a cricket game or whatever, yeah? You just walk in, and take whatever seat is available in the members area?

I'm asking, because I've gone to buy a few guest passes for the Hawks game, and seen the following line on the website "Sydney Swans members have priority access to purchase tickets. " (http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7106/newsid/72469/default.aspx)

Who would this be intended for? If you've got a Platinum-Bronze membership, you've got a reserved seat, right? And if you've got a red zone membership, you've got a guaranteed seat within a limited area, yeah? So what is the point of giving Swans members priority for purchasing tickets? Is this for people who may have a non-ticketed membership that want to attend?

Just want to make sure I've understood this correctly. I wouldn't want to rock up on Saturday, and have my three mates able to get in with their guest passes, while I'm stuck outside.

My understanding is you can buy up to 4 guest passes a game, which enables you to bring friends into the Red Zone for that game (like guest passes for SCC or MCC memberships). You can buy them by following a link from the "ClubsOnline" site once you've logged in, or by rocking up at a Ticketek office with your members card (which I don't have yet).

Which has me wondering - do they only sell memberships for 1/5th of the seats in the Red Zone? What would happen in the event that all Red Zone members wanted to bring 3 or 4 friends to a match? Or is there a limited number of spare seats, and it's done on a first come, first served basis?

Female members aren't women - they're ladies, thank you very much.

But yes.

Also, the M.A. Noble stand, behind the goals at the Paddington end.

It's why the opposition cheer squad is relegated to the side.
