I got these from FinalStats.com and thought they might interest you. Just some basic player stats and also team ones for the season.

Matches
23 - Adem Yze, Jeff White & Alistair Nicholson
22 - Jared Rivers, Russell Robertson, Brad Miller, Cameron Bruce, Nathan Brown
21 - David Neitz, Ben Holland, Brad Green, Phil Read
20 - Paul Wheatley & Matthew Whelan
19 - Aaron Davey
18 - Chris Heffernan & James McDonald
16 - Travis Johnstone
14 - Troy Broadbridge, Clint Bizzell & Simon Godfrey
13 - Peter Walsh
12 - Scott Thompson
11 - Peter Vardy
10 - Daniel Ward
9 - Brock McLean
7 - Darren Jolly & Guy Rigoni
6 - Steven Armstrong
4 - Nathan Carroll
3 - Colin Sylvia, Daniel Bell and Mark Jamar
2 - Luke Williams

Interesting to see the much maligned Al Nicholson playing every game. Shows that he is important to them team, even though he isn't very good. Also interesting to see our two young key position players Miller and Rivers playing 22 matches, I wouldn't have picked that at the start of the year. And our recruits, who some thought wouldn't be needed, played 21 games. We need more games out of Johnstone and Vardy who are always injured, but very good players. Broadbridge was Bizzell's replacement but played the same amount of games as Clint. Jolly and Jamar played a combined total of 10 games, showing how much White did it all on his own. Sylvia, McLean and Bell combined for 12. I'm sure that will rise to about 40-50 next year.

Goals
69 - David Neitz
34 - Cameron Bruce
30 - Russell Robertson
28 - Aaron Davey
26 - Brad Green
21 - Ben Holland
19 - Adem Yze
13 - Brad Miller
12 - Peter Vardy & Travis Johnstone
8 - Scott Thompson & Jeff White
7 - Peter Walsh
5 - Brock McLean & Nathan Brown
4 - Steven Armstrong & Phil Read
3 - Simon Godfrey & James McDonald
2 - Guy Rigoni, Chris Heffernan & Paul Wheatley
1 - Colin Sylvia, Daniel Ward & Matthew Whelan

No suprise with Neitz notching up yet another good total (216 goals since 2002). Bruce proved his worth with 34 goals. Robertson managed a decent tally, while Davey was brilliant in his first year. Green continued to score goals, Holland averaged 1 a match and Yze managed a good tally from the backline. Miller needs to kick more from CHF, while Vardy proved that when he is out there he can score, as can Johnstone. Be nice for White to add more goals too. Walsh proved he can be a handy goalsneak if we are undermanned.

Average Disposals
22.3 - Adem Yze
20.0 - Brad Green & Nathan Brown
19.5 - Cameron Bruce
18.6 - James McDonald
17.3 - Jeff White
16.1 - Travis Johnstone
15.8 - Chris Heffernan
15.7 - Scott Thompson
15.3 - Paul Wheatley

Yze is a ball magnet, and Brown proved his worth off the half back line. Green abd Bruce were good. McDonald is so valuable, as is Jeff White around the ground. Johnstone averaged 16 possessions for effectively 3 quarters, which is a good effort. Give him game time and he will prove that he will get lots of the ball and score goals. Thompson and Heffernan were also important in the middle, winning a decent amount of the ball.

Average Marks
5.6 - Paul Wheatley
5.5 - Brad Miller & Jeff White
5.1 - Russell Robertson
5.0 - Jared Rivers & Brad Green
4.8 - Nathan Brown
4.7 - David Neitz & Scott Thompson
4.5 - Matthew Whelan & Cameron Bruce
4.3 - Adem Yze
4.2 - Matthew Whelan

Surprising to see Wheatley lead this, but he was very good this year. Miller and White were fantastic and marking is a key part of both their games. Great centre half forwards reach about 200 marks a year, Miller reached 120. Still room for improvement I guess, but that also depends on our game plan. Robertson still did his job, and most of these marks were no doubt under pressure. He is fantastic like that. Neitz needed to take a few more I feel, less than 5 marks a match isn't good enough for a champion full forward.

Hitouts
523 - Jeff White
55 - Ben Holland
44 - Darren Jolly
22 - Mark Jamar
16 - Brad Miller
12 - Troy Broadbridge
11 - David Neitz & Scott Thompson

Next year we are going to need more of an input from Jolly or Jamar, because Jeff White can't do it all. Holland was handy in the ruck contests up forward, and Miller, Broadbridge and Neitz also chipped in. Thompson must have been the third man in a lot of ruck contests.

Average Tackles
4.2 - James McDonald
3.9 - Chris Heffernan
3.8 - Scott Thompson
3.7 - Cameron Bruce
3.4 - Simon Godfrey
2.8 - Phil Read & Matthew Whelan
2.6 - Aaron Davey
2.4 - Brock McLean
2.3 - Steven Armstrong & Adem Yze
2.2 - Daniel Ward, Troy Broadbridge & Jared Rivers
2.0 - Daniel Bell, Nathan Carroll, Travis Johnstone & Brad Green

This stat says it all. Green, Bruce, Johnstone and Yze can do the flashy things, but it's McDonald, Heffernan, Thompson and Godfrey who are vital in the middle. Bruce was actually good in this section too. Read, Whelan, Davey and McLean also showed their defensive skills here too.

Winning Margins
01-19 : 4 times (2, 5, 5, 5, 4, 5)
20-39 : 3 times (2, 7, 4, 4, 2, 4)
40-59 : 6 times (1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 5)
.. 60+ : 1 times (0, 0, 0, 6, 0, 2)

Always been something we've failed to do. Put teams away. Just like to compare this to our other years under Neale. They are in the brackets left to right, starting from 2003 going back to 1998. This year we put teams away, although we didn't pump them. In fact, apart from the Carlton game, we haven't had a 10 goal victory since 2000. However, that 40-59 point margin is still good and we did it much more than the past 5 years combined.

Losing Margins
01-19 : 2 times (5, 5, 3, 4, 5, 1)
20-39 : 2 times (7, 4, 5, 3, 5, 3)
40-59 : 3 times (3, 1, 2, 0, 4, 2)
.. 60+ : 2 times (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3)

Amazingly, every year Daniher has been at the club, we've received two 60+ point hidings, no matter if it's an odd or even year. That's except for 98, where we actually copped 3 hidings. Unfortunately, the 2004 team lost badly just like the 2003 Demons. We copped 5 40+ hidings, 1 less than 1999 and equal to 1998 and 2003.

Good work Shev.

A few surprises there the Winning margin's are heading in the right direction & tackling is on the whole much better than 2002 even.

If Miller, Rivers & Ferguson continue to improve we could actually be a serious force sometime soon...
