Why is Michael Barlow still on the TBC list? I can understand Hayden and Ruffles due to the fact that they are a long way from playing football again.

Harvey said 1-2 weeks ago that Barlow will shortly be back in full training.

Mzungu is estimated at 8-10 weeks, does Barlow being on TBC mean that he is more than 10 weeks from even starting to play footy again?

Can some of the regular training attendees please let us know if Barlow is actually training at any intensity now.

I thought the fact that he is going down water slides was a pretty positive sign, but this lack of a starting date for Barlow seems to indicate that we will not be seeing him in any form for 3 months still:(

They probably just want to reduce any expectations and hype surrounding his return. I would prefer them to have an open return date and take their time with his return

What they've said time & time again is that they're taking it very carefully and monitoring the soft tissue around the leg and strengthening it so that he doesn't have any more setbacks. I guess they'll have a better idea of how far away he'll be timeline-wise once he's ready for a WAFL hitout which I'd imagine is only a month or so away.

Barlow said the fitness staff were following a cautious path but he was getting closer to training with the team. He said that would be the significant milestone that would begin the countdown to him finally playing.

"I'm close to training with the main group," Barlow said at a function for the club's major sponsor Woodside.

Barlow said his bone had recovered well from the break but he had to do an enormous amount of work to strengthen his muscles to prevent soft-tissue injuries when he returned.
