Just a heads up to let you know Michael Gardiner's dad suffered what was a suspected heart attack yesterday down in Albany and was rushed to hospital.

Not sure of the severity of it or how it will affect Michael's his availbility for the match this weekend as a result but keep his dad in your thoughts as he recovers.

Geez, thats terrible news. I'd expect MG to be there already if not, on his way over now.

Stated by Mr Magic over on SS:

"Well a caller to SEN (Mark Doran's show) said he just saw Gardi and Benny boy walking in the water at Port Melbourne for about 10 minutes before they left and went back to Gardi's place in Port Melbourne. So unless he is taking a later flight this afternoon/evening it would appear that he is staying in town.

I do know that Benny-boy was planning to watch the game tonight, so the 'report' on SEN is at least true that he (beeny-boy) is in Melbourne. As to the rest of the 'report' who knows?"

Hopefully it's a sign his dad isn't that bad then

Absolutely kane. You would have to assume it would.

I highly doubt the Saints would encourage him to play & I couldn't imagine anyone playing if a family member was in a serious condition either.

Our thoughts go out to Michael and his father, Renny.

Renny has stuck by young Michael through all of his troubles and I'm sure Michael will be eager to ensure he is well and in the best of hands.

Thats not good news at all, think of the upside tho guys that dud wont be playing this week then.

You clown.

If you want to have a crack at a bloke, go to Bay 13, rather than do it on a thread which was started to let supporters know his father has had a heart attack.

Thats Red Card kind of rubbish.
