It obviously means a lot to him to play up there. Apparently he jumped the fence after and was hanging with the mob, doing selfies and the like.

He's obviously been off the boil with his ball handling, slipping over and such but he wound it back today.

I don't want to be too negative but I suspect the wide ground there really helped us find more space. That and having Freddy and Sturt in. Freddy is just so dangerous given any space they really have to guard him, Sturt similarly doesn't have to get the ball too often to hurt you so Walters was probably under less pressure.

With Emmett I don't think they care that much if he gets it, he's probably going to burn it anyway but Walters, Freddy and Sturt are all deadly if they get a break on their man.

Hopefully Son Son can have a rest, get his hand fully right and really come home strong. If we're going to do any damage in the finals we need him at his rock star best.

Awesome player, clubman and person. I remember over here in Victoria when the club used to visit the Templestowe Dockers (where my son played) and Walters was the best with the kids, chatted, listened and a big smile.
