Midfield Clearances

While it was good to get a win on Saturday it was quite noticable that we were chopped up in the midfield and clearances definately went Carltons way.Whist Schneiderman and Bucci played well,they weren't in the the middle getting the scraps at the centre bounces.
I think Willo is a bit slow at present but the guy has given great service and is only a couple of games off his 300th.Hopufully we can carry him through but he will need help.Next week we play Melbourne who have a strong midfield.Will be interesting to see if Roosy does anything to address this problem.

Chambers and to an extent Jolly. Unless we sort our ruck dept out, we will be smashed all year in the clearances. I say throw Goodes back in the ruck.

Perhaps Goodes can do a bit of ruck work for boundry throw ins etc, but i strongly doubt he'd be used at the centre bounces unless Jolly or Chambers went down injured.
