hows he going so far this year??

he didn't get on the park much last year, what injury did he have??

Is he still a useful player??

he was one of my favourite players at west coast so I was always disapointed when he left.

Mitch is in the VFL team at the moment, and in the past games he hasn't made the best players.

a) Mitch did really well early on. Don't think he deserved to be dropped.

b) He had a few injuries. The main one was a buttock problem, believe it or not.

c) Still very useful imo. It's a great shame that his body has packed it in because his football brain is extraordinary.

The Mitchell White experiment didn't work, but at the end of the day, i think he has had a positive effect on the club, as a whole.

Unfortunately for Mitchell White, he doesn't have the pace to be able to keep up with the game at the highest level anymore. He also struggles to run out games which makes it very hard to justify a position for him in the side.

very disapointed to here that Mitch's day are coming to an end. There was a point in the competition around 96/97 when he was the most underrated footballer in the competition, and probably in the top 10 or 15. He was a gun on his day during those years, unfortunately he didn't do much else outside of those years.

Do you want him back?? :D In fact, you can probably take the whole team if you want

He plays with some pride though, something Ben Graham hasn't done for ages.

I said that White's lack of pace and inability to last the entire game makes it hard to justify a place for him in the team, however if Geelong keep performing to the level they did yesterday, it will become a lot easier to justify his place.

Does it really matter if he is 20 metres behind his opponent instead of 10 :(

I'm no Mitchell White fan but we might as well give him a few full games to prove himself. Defence or Attack we need help everywhere. If the body can hold up he can only improve the team, hell, if he does his hammy and/or buttock and plays on one leg it can't be any worse.

Yeah, sad to see his career come to an end. He was my favourite player once upon a time. Loved the way he would charge out straight down the corridor, mark it with his safe hands, wheel around and then hit a target 10 times out of 10.
