Having only 17 players playing didn't give us a chance. Jason Johnson's late pullout and Steven Bakers ridiculous suspension cost us this match and 4th spot on the ladder. Just making up the numbers in the finals now, and looking to next year.

DEMONS DELIVER!

The equation was simple. Win the final 2 games of the home and away season or become known as the official pretenders of the MPFL. The task however was not so simple. Standing in their path were Team RnB and the Kangaroos - last season's premiers and the inform team of the competition each searching for a top 4 position. But this made little difference. With the disappointment of last season still fresh in their minds, the Demons didn't disappoint and stormed their way into their second successive final series in as many years.

On hearing of the results late last night coach Broadbridge_20 became errect with excitement. "They wrote us off 3 weeks ago. They said we couldnt make it and we proved them all wrong. One thing you should all remember is this side never lays down, never goes down without a fight."

"Of course we must thank the Chuck Swans, who 3 weeks ago informed the authorities and made public the controversial Gunnedah scoreline, but this week undid their wrong and eliminated them from the competition. Also 3 men whose courage, heart and determination cannot be questioned. Three men who have risen to the top in the last 2 weeks, proved all doubters wrong and led the charge into late July.

The Demons resume training this afternoon for their elimination final clash with Geelong.
