G'day all,
Is anyone really making and effort to ensure they have cover with MPP players? I hear that a few are ensuring they have Tippett in the fwd line to cover for any injury with Lobbe on bench. (hoping there forward rookies are going well). Each time I play around with my team I never end up with much cover for MPP. Is it absolutely necessary? What your strategies?
eg. Is it worth putting the likes of Hodge or Goddard in your midfield so you could use them for a MPP with say Ladson later on. So if a rookie midfielder you do not have is on fire early you could swap Hodge for Ladson then upgrade Ladson for the gun rookie?? Usually the value is in the midfield with rookies so that was my thinking but I cannot seem to see if it is really worth it. Anyone else thinking along the same lines???
