I was wondering whether anyone has a NAB Online trading account and could help me with something I can't work out at the moment?

I use NAB Online trading which is linked to my NAB account. I decided to sell some shares to pay off a bit of debt and have some extra money for Christmas and a trip back home. Most of my trades went through yesterday and are currently placed in my 'trading account', which is fine. The only problem is that I can't seem to work out how to move the money from my 'trading account' to my 'cash account', where my regular account money is kept. Is the trading money stored in the trading account until a few days after the trades is finalised or is there some other way of getting my trading account to my cash account.

Cheers

Normally takes (for me) 24-48 hours to show up in my cash account (automatically), but I have no idea why it wouldn't be instant

Cool, thanks for that Lenny. I'll just wait it out for the cash to enter my cash account. Cheers!

Settlement generally takes 2-3 days.

If the buyer reneged on his purchase (insufficient funds etc) and NAB had already paid the seller then they would be left holding the shares.

Had a similar experience with e*trade, but was transferring to st george, funds got 'stuck' in between, computer glitch they told me, yeah right I said:rolleyes:
System is in a spiral, I hope I'm wrong but the debt ogre looms large, good luck all with large debts.
