Did anyone else manage to make it to Napalm Death in Melbourne tonight or abroad? Brutal as F**k.

yeah i just cant believe how old they all are yet they still go so hard. Barney especially. I just wonder how much longer he can last going that hard night after night. At the melbourne show some kid who i heavily doubt was over 18 looked about 13 years old jumped on stage during the 2nd last track and pushed Barney. The band actually stopped playing. The kid got jumped by about 6 dudes and looked like he was copping a belting. All in all was a great set. Blood Duster owned as well.

great gig, although I reckon they were a bit better last time (with jesse).
barney's kinda like everyones favourite uncle these days (a genuinely nice bloke), and had aplenty to say about apec.
or as he said 'but I'll call it opec like a certain fckwit did this morning'

shane embury starting to look more and more like friar tuck these days with the bald patch growing larger by the day haha!

blood duster weren't bad - was surprised to see dave haley on drums.
is there a band in australia he hasn't played with yet ffs?!

yeah the melbourne show was actually his 1st gig i think for blood duster. yeah barney is a bit that way. He said in melbourne about how religions doesnt solve anything and its all a myth and stuff. Surprising to see how much new school stuff they played. They opened with sink fast let go, they played the great capitulator (the last track on order of the leech), well all is said and done, breed to breathe.

The best though was when they played about 5 trax end on end from scum. scum, life, the kill, deciever, and you suffer! i was interested to see how they would sound live without jessie. I wonder if they arent replacing him because they dun wanna disrespect type thing cause he died. was a good set none the less.

would have liked something from 'enemy of the music business', and 'infiltraitor' (wftew) though
no greed killing either.

i was hanging out for necessary evil. I thought that was definately on Napalms play list for most concerts. The closed with Nazi Punks, Mass Appeal Madness and ended with siege of power. They didnt play from enslavement to obliteration which was odd.

Anyway about Dave Hayley. Im surprised why Blood Duster would even bother with him. 1 because he would have touring duties with Psycroptic which is obviously a massive conflict of interest, and 2. Dave doesnt really fit that, "**** everyone, where just a bunch of stupid drunk ***** playing metal" type role that the other Blood Duster members portray. I wonder what happen to Matty Rizzo tho he was playing with em for going on 8 years.

But oh well thats all over. You going to Festival of the Dead in Sydney? Im going to Melbourne in October with The Berzerker ... Akerkocke, The Amenta, Fleshgore, Blood Duster, Terrorust, ****... Im Dead etc. Going to be phaaat. Been waiting years to see The Berzerker tear up the melbourne stage again

besides pyscroptic I think he's also in about another 5 bands as well (as well as session stuff)
he may have (since) left, but he was in amenta & ruins as well

yep, keen for the festival - mainly to see akercocke (what a great band).
some berzerker stuff is good (love their song 'reality'), but not much of a fan.
