I really hope that Carlton get a chance to take this kid as i think he has the right attributes to really make it at AFL level, could develop into a Wirrapanda or Pickett type player quite easily IMO, he has already lived in Melbourne for the past 2 years so should be over the homesickness by now, seems to be a really smart and stable young man without the reckless side that most Aboriginal players come with, really reminds me of Wirrapanda in that sense. Although he is only 176cm and 77kg at the moment he is really well built in terms of his upper body and muscular stature, again similar to the 2 i mentioned earlier, and while the other 2 are also under 180cm there muscular frames make them seem a lot taller than they really are. Was All Australian under18 this year and had a really good draft camp scoring in the top 2% for the 20 mtr sprint, top 11% in agility and top 15% in the beep test. He also averaged 22 possessions for the NT at the U18 championships.
Has a really great attitude and as i said earlier is a smart kid as well, would be a very nice addition to our list even at his size, or i should say height because in terms of build he is sensational, would be a great pick up at 19 if he lasts that long, or with a lot of luck with our next pick.

i saw him play footy for scotch and also the Schoolboys representative side which is a pretty good standard. he is amazingly quick and strong bodied. he does have great evasive skills and not bad foot skills, i think sometimes he is just going abit too fast for himself to handle. it will be different when he is playing against men, instead of being one the the stronger ones like school footy, he will be at the other end. wouldnt be a bad pickup but IMO i dunno if he would be a fully fledged onballer in an AFL side.

I see him more similar to a player like Aaron Davey, how good would it be to have a player of his calibre in our team.

My favourite player in this draft. If he was 6cm taller we'd be debating whether he or Gibbs where better. He'll be a superstar. I'm hoping like hell he makes it to 17 because Sheedy will definately take him at 18.

No way on Gods green earth that Djerkurra will still be available at #35.

not as good as Gibbs ( but no one is )
I have seen him in 2 games and both times he has done the job

very very quick not a great kick but will get better

I hope he gets to 17

Sounds like a good prospect, very grounded and focused on what he wants to achieve.

Could be a good pick at 17, even better at 19!
