sixers won it easy
La.Lakers will sweep the sixers in the final.
La.Lakers will extend their winning streak to 23 games.

WHO would win?
The 2001 La.Lakers V the Chicago bulls when they went 78-4?

Roos2001.
was it true that Milwaukee scored 0 in the last quater and Philidelphia scored 3 points?
FINAL 1 2 3 4 T
Milwaukee 26 24 21 0 71
Philadelphia 25 31 26 3 85
is that fake or what?

That's wrong, X_box_X. Some websites reported it incorrectly. I watched the match and the Sixers won 108-91.

Bucks 26 24 21 20 91

Sixers 25 31 26 26 108

I definitely dont think it will be a sweep. The Sixers have too much talent across the board. They have reigning MVP Iverson and Mutombo in the middle who was awarded the Defensive player of the year will certainly quell Shaq's input.

With Hill, McKie and Snow contributing they should stretch it to 6 but i think the Lakers will take it. I hope however that the 76ers win cos Shaq's a dickhead.

If the Lakers do sweep the 76ers it will be the first time in NBA history that a team goes through the playoffs without a loss as the Lakers beat the Blazers 3-0 the Kings 4-0 and the Spurs 4-0.

X_Box_X - the Bulls never went 78-4, the best record by any team in history was the 97 Bulls but they went 72-10. The only team ever to win 70 + games in one season.

1997 Bulls v 2001 Lakers, no contest Bulls in 5. Jordan (greatest player ever) and Pippen (One of the 50 greatest players of all time and in my opinion top 20) with Kukoc (knows his role and comes off the bench well) and Rodman ( the greatest modern day rebounder the world has ever seen) and with Jackson at the helm. Probably the greatest team ever.

Jod23.
I think I wrote it wrong.
there was a stage the bulls went 78 wins out of 82 games.
and I reckon it will be a sweep.
Even thought the sixers have the home caught advantage I reckon La will sweep them like they swept the spurs!
It should've been Charlotte V LaLakers!

what an amazing game.
Lakers had a 21-9 lead then they lost by 6 points.
this is something I would never have predicted, especially being played at Los.
well done 76ers.

Sorry man but your wrong, the Bulls have never 78 out of 82 games? Over two season maybe but i doubt it. And you bball knowledge is a little awry considering you think Philly has home court advantage which of course they dont.

And it aint a sweep seen as Philly just took game 1 yesterday, and if Charlotte went through it would have been the most one sided NBA Finals in history.

I think the 76ers are a good chance after taking Game 1 in amazing fashion in OT. Shaq had 44 points and 20 rebounds and Iverson had 48 points marking only the second time in NBA Finals history that 2 players on opposite teams has scored over 40 points in the same game. MJ and Barkley each scored 42 points in 1993.

Game 2 is absolutley vital for the Lakers to win, if they dont they are in big trouble heading back to Philly. I think the 10 day break hurt LA and they are now trying to get back into the groove, shouldnt take them long and expect them to take game 2 but now all Philly have to do is win at home and they will be 2001 Champions. Should be a great series.

They do now though since they won Game 1.

Maybe X_box_X was predicting what was to eventuate in the series. ;)

Lakers had an off day!
Bryant wasn't at hes best.
Fox started the game well, but he faded towards the conclusion of the match.
But all credit to the 76ers, they went behind all the odds and broke the Lakers 19 game win streak.
I reckon Lakers in 5:D

Lakers took game 2. Which they badly needed. Kobe shot better and Shaq had a huge game but the victory came from Fishers tight D on Iverson. They'll be glad to get that win because to contain Iverson like that and lose would have been a tragedy. Well off to Philly for games 3 4 and 5 and hopefully the 76ers can win. One thing is for sure you wont hold Iverson like that again.

Game 3 was another tight contest which further proves the point that this series could be a classic.

Roos2001 - Shaq was only out for the last 2:31 its not like he sat the whole last quarter.

Horry was huge for them scoring there last 7 points and nailing a crucial 3. Iverson scored a lot of points but they didnt hurt the lakers even though he scored 14 in the last quarter. He misses a vital free throw and then a 3 pointer in the last minute or so, those are the kinda things Jordan would make and an MVP would make.

The Answer needs to pick up his game if there going to stretch this to 6 or 7 games. The 76ers also dearly miss Goerge Lynch, he is averageing around 8 points and 7 boards a game but its the little things he does, the hussle, throwing himself on loose balls. He's what Rodman was to the Bulls. They say he might be back for game 4, i hope so.
