In my opinion the greatest basketball game created by EA Sports. NBA Live 2001 is arguable the best game for franchise mode. Quick simulation, team and player progress graphs, team leader sheets, easy salary cap and most of all realistic statistics. The game was and still is a hit.
I strongly recomend you pull out your old version and give it a go, great fun now with all the current veterans in there earlier years in franchise mode.
EA Sports showed so much potential in this edition, its a shame they firstly didnt release a PC edition in 2002 and secondly continue improvement in there series of NBA games.
The best NBA game on PC and top 4 overall off all time (2k6,2k7 and 2k8 the others)
