I am not knocking Neil Balme as a footy manager, but why does he go on SEN? He offers nothing of note, and is too evasive. He is wasting both his and the club's time by even going on "Hunger For Sport".

Neil, when you go on a radio show, you are partly talking to your club's supporters. We need to know when a player is returning, or when they will be back from injury. We don't need the games Balme plays, like being honest will give other teams an advantage over Geelong. For heaven's sake, you are not revealing the team's gameplan, you are informing when player X comes back from his injury. He needs to stop being such a douche about it.

I know that KB shows Balme no respect, (personally, if it were me getting that disrespect from Kevin, I would pay out and tell him how he isn't as good as he thinks he is, and a few other choice things (how he walked out on Richmond etc) and then would deck the bloke. However, if Balme isn't going to get respected, and he acts like he doesn't want to be there, he should pass on doing the spot, and either let someone else from Geelong, who is a bit more upfront, or someone else from another club, or have KB and DC just jerk off by themselves.

Balme, how about just giving us information in the newsletters and e-mails and stay away from the media. You don't cut it going on the radio.

Not sure what this has got to do with the club, hi isn't doing the slot to represent Geelong and is quite open about not giving away anything. KB plays up to this quite a bit and winds him up, but ultimately he is just a special comments man like DC.

SEN has a listener during Summer?

I'm guess that Balmy is hedging is bets for a career after his current one.
Lot easier to get a media gig from having one than from the outside.

And he clearly is a graduate from the Bill Billicheck school of media information.

And you think "decking" somebody will gain you respect???

I really like listening to Bartlett.
Hated him as a player though. Mainly because he ripped us a new one.

he ripped most teams a new one didn't he?

The best ever of that type of player?
Maybe Hodgepodge will dispute that. And perhaps justifiably.
Anyway, consistently brilliant as a FP rover, and very good as a pure rover.

He was an incredible footballer bobby.
So bloody slippery. He just knew where the footy was going before anyone else did.

While we are on the football department, I see we have lost Ronnie Watt to the Coaches Association. Not ideal timing.

No. My many fans here hang out for my pearls of wisdom on a weekly basis, and I mustn't disappoint them.
