Especially after last year, only playing 6 games, we all thought it was all over red rover. But something obviously clicked and he's playing really well.

Obviously a move forward has suited him - for some reason it took 6 or 7 years to move him out of the back pocket - just like the move back has really suited Butler.

Very happy that the 2nd tier guys like Nico, Butler and Rosa have lifted this year. It's been the difference.

His workrate and accountability is amazing.
His 2 goals were opportunities from swooping around the goal mouth.
He constantly is moving and attacking all the time.

i couldnt see the point of him last year..so much ball butchering and turnovers, was just damn ugly-could say that for most of the team i guess..although have always liked his raking kicking style when it was on song..

but man has he found his niche now..almost rely on 2 goals a game, and all that pressure, chase+tackle, as well as being a great crumber.

the eagles are applying pressure on the opp,and pressure on themselves from below-others trying to break into the team-guys want to keep their jobs-its good for business!!

I think he spent most of last year as a mentor to the younger forwards. I thought it was an odd arrangement, given Nicoski hadn't done a lot as a forward. With the benefit of hindsight, it's been a very good move. Perhaps being thrust into the position of "senior" player has made him very accountable and made him realise that he's got to contribute at a senior player level.

Best game for the year? I'd say best game for the club. Fantastic game from Nico

have to give him plenty of credit. i was skeptical about his ability to capitalise on those half-chances as a crumbing forward but can't argue with the couple of goals a game he's been providing for us.

just needs to keep working hard, chasing, pressuring and converting the gettable ones and he has a place in the top 22 all year.

I've done a 180 on him. Used to hate him, even was criticising him for being selfish early this year. But he's such a team man now, goes so hard, tackles hard. Great to have in the team. Hopefully LeCras can start to hit a bit more form now and they can form a great duo for the rest of the year.

Thought lecca really worked himself into the game on sunday - certainly less rust than the previous fortnight

was involved in something like 6 scores - which was the most from our side

Im absolutely loving this. I used to think he was a gun off half back and then got injured badly and i slowly begun to think he was finished. I nearly woulda delisted him last year. Was brilliant on the weekend just seemed to never loose a contest and always get the ball off effectively. Him and rosa people i normally don't give raps too have both been very good this year and were greay on the weekend.:thumbsu:

I personally think he was washed up as a half back flanker, very clever of Worsfold to move him forward again and let him play a more natural style of game. Snapping over his right shoulder has become his specialty and you can just tell he is enjoying his footy again.

I best get in here and eat my humble pie, has been a personal favourite whipping boy for some time now but has been great this year.

Given his age and the age of our squad he will have to continue kicking goals to keep them at bay, but I can't see how he is any more than a stop gap until a younger forward steps up and take his position.

But until then keep going Nico!
