Noob Adding Video To Ipod/Itunes Problem

Ok, so I'm having problems with adding videos to iTunes.

First, Im adding an episode of heroes and it came in .avi, so I converted it to .mp4 to show it up in Itunes, success

Then in iTunes that wouldnt sync to the ipod, so I converted it in itunes to make it 'ipod-able'.....that won't sync either? What am I doing wrong here, theres the .mp4 version (ipod capable) sitting there in the Video library, but it won't sync onto the ipod.

But it simply won't sync onto the ipod, even though its there in the library.

If anyone can help me that would be great.

run your ipod diagnostics.
if that doesn't work use "ALLOK 3GP"
works every time.

Go onto your iPod setting and make sure it's syncing 'all' videos and movies.

I had to download a 3rd party software in the end, to get it there.
