nsis error????

Recently purchased a new pc which is running Vista (unfortunately).
Problem I am getting is whenever I try to install any programs/software i am getting an error.

nsis error
error launching installer

I know that the program/software must be Vista compatable, just not sure if this is the problem or is it a hardware problem.

It means the intaller file is either incomplete or corrupted. Try go here for solutions/futher explination. http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Why_do_I_get_NSIS_Error
