The NBL finals commence now. let's be honest it will be NZ or Perth

who do u think will win it and why?

Sensible call, the cats will breeze past the hawks with brooms, cant wait to see how many turn up on thursday, would love to see 13k plus. As much as it pains me to say it, i think NZ will get it purely due to hometown advantage, the game on friday was a dead rubber and i dont think NZ were even interested being in WA let alone playing a basketball. Cats find it hard to win in NZ and NZ find it hard to win in perth. The only way the cats will win the series if they can steal the away game 1.

thats exactly how i see it mate. whoever wins game 1 wins series...

i didn't see fridays game so i have no idea how lightly NZ took it.

these two sides are miles ahead of the others...i am personally looking forward to the two of them going at it.

Wildcats shooting is very hit & miss. Some weeks unstoppable. Other weeks unmakeable. I'm surprised that they've put the ball in Bartlett's hands so much in offense. Has he shot well through the season? I've seen a few games but not much of him.
dont even get me started on bartlett, absolute waste of space, thinks he is kobe bryant with all his pull up 3s, has gone 0-10 twice this season i think, common for the crowd to grown every time he even touches the ball, can wait for the season to be over so we can cut that joker

Close margin, a few minutes to go turns the ball over on one play and then on the next tries another unsuccessful three with plenty on the shot clock and pretty much air balls it, guys a massive ball hog who over rates his talents!

CJ Bruton was ice cold down the stretch hitting some big shots :(
Jackson as well,

And with Bartlett just hasnt been able to hit anything in the past few weeks, his shots looked terrible tonight. Some good decent layups but his outside game has been way off

ill keep it concise, i could ramble for hours.

Significant amount of unforced TO's during the whole game, leading to easy baskets for NZ
Took significant amount of early shot clock shots.
Took significnat amount of contested 3s.
NZ significantly more structured and drilled side.
See you later bartlett, if you are on our roster next year i will burn perth arena to the ground.
Lisch went missing in the GF series.
We need a genuine centre. (Cue Mike Dunigan)
Need a a pure point guard, carter thinks he is a SG. Damo is 100% defense orientated (not that its a bad thing)
Bevo could be done, as much as i love him, we played full court d all game which lead to easy ad uncontested fast break and lay up points. Playing half court d was a far better option for the 2nd half when we got it back close.

All in all, well done to the breakers, well done to my boys, you busted your ass but came up short again, hope we redeem next year

Was at the game, Apart from the massive goal-tend at the end probably the right result

perth turned the ball over with some horrid passes
I 100% agreed, until i saw the broadcast, was the right call in the end. Agree it was the "right result" though

The lack of depth in the squad is never more evident then this series
when lisch, knight and to a lessor extent redhage tonight go missing we have 0 secondary options. Carter was useless this series despite putting some solid end of season games together. Damo is never a offensive threat anyway, bartlett is an a grade hack, jesse is a shadow of last years form, hire doesnt want to take open shots, ditto tovey.

despite my ramblings that crowd and atmosphere was absolutely unreal all game and especially down the stretch, havent seen the figures but would be sure there was 14k plus, which is great for the NBL, would love to see bigger crowds amongst other teams.
