anyone heard these guys, they sort of similar to wu-tang clan in the way the aren't really a proper group, but a more of a collection of rappers who produce there own works with help from the other members.
(they don't really sound like wu-tang though, just for refrences sake)

probably the first real shake up of hip hop since the marshall mathers LP

check out stuff from 'Tylor the creator'

and 'earl t-shirt'(he's only 16 and listen to his lyrics)

They have pretty horrendous beats, but it's their lyrics which have them so acclaimed by most critics. Although Tyler, The Creator has worked with producers of the decade The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo) recently.

These guys are awesome.

"Tyler raps about teen angst, therapy, resenting his family, hating college, unsuccessfully wooing girls, cartoonish violence and misogyny, ADHD and suicide threats, and sitting in front of his computer compulsively masturbating. It's immediate, immature, raw, unprocessed, even embarrassing. "

Sums it up well. Just a clever, maladjusted up middle class teen creating shit thats super contemporary and that a lot of people 15 - 25 can relate to myself included.

Earl excites me the most, so much potential. Still can't believe he was only 16 when he dropped EARL.

Tyler is pretty great too, a real character, solid rapper and decent producer.
