I have both in my side and of the two, its Buddy that I'm itching to get rid of! Dawson is getting consistant 80s while big Lance F only delivered a paltry 23 on the weekend, in a game that i lost in my league by 11 points!

One of the big lessons of 09 is that key forwards (other than Riewoldt) are not fantasy relevant.

It's a shame as they are the most important players but a limited number of points can be given in every game and with midfielder racking up 40 handballs each, it's hard for the big goalkickers to get reasonable scores.

We're passed the half way mark of the competition, forwards have struggled to get to the 40 goal mark just yet, no one on target to kick 100 so the really top scores from the forwards have dried up a bit as a result.

Knew I should have stayed away from Buddy this season.

Hmmm........hindsight is a lovely thing.

Given what I know now I would have filled my forward line with midfielders.

Given what I new pre round 1 I took Fev who narrowly missed out on 100 straight ones last year. I could have gone for Buddy but he kicks too many behinds and clangers so Fev was the obvious choice.

As a goal scoring partner for Fev how could I look past Roughy, managed to kick 70+ goals last year next to a 100+ mate.

Both are struggling this year and 70 goals for either would be a miracle at this point.

I suppose next year Buddy and Fev will challenge the 100 again, but not in my side.

Zac been great this season and who would of thought he would of turned out to be a handy point scorer.Kudos to those that have had from the start as he is probably panned out to be a keeper from this point on

Good on him to my mind. Had him from the start and upgraded him to Newman a few weeks ago. Shame that he's outscoring Gilbee and Fisher who are still sitting in my backline.

gotta love the zac. who would have thought that game on roca was such a turning point. rocca becomes a freshly planted new season spud and zac goes nuts.
