Another game already where we have lost by less than a goal. It's the first game I know but I'm furious. These are the games that cost us top 4 last year!

Malthouse has gt to go he has no concept of modern footy we killed the Crows after quarter time, why o why do we concede the centre corridor he is an A Grade dic%$ead.

What a f****ng useless performance, we should have put them away in the third quarter.
Didak and Fraser have gotta pull there fingers out and start imposing themselves physically on a game of football, especially Josh, he is 200+ cm tall and weighs 100 kilo's he should at least have some physical affect on a game! Didak just needs to have a tea spoon of concrete and harden the f*** up...seriously.
HORRIBLE PERFORMANCE TODAY. although not as bad as our game against Geelong a couple of weeks back......

Sorry just venting!

Considering the opposition, i think it was worse!

Malthouse' stubborness gave them a huge head start!

Can't say it was a great start, for a side that came out saying they want to win the premiership, we didnt really even look interested. I would like to see some kids in next week, need some enthusiasm. Had a number of chances to put the game away but as usual did not take them. So who will be coaching us next year??

Funny how McLeod and Edwards were allowed the ball forward of centre with 30m of space ahead of them.

Mind-baffling tactics.

Lost at the selection table, Crows went for kids and we passed on Beams, Sidebottom and Stanley who might have actually got a clearance

clearance wasn't our main problem today... johnno was probably selected for his fitness for than anything else...
just a pity we didnt' get over the line...

if we had to blame something over the loss... i would say it's the way we choked with our skill errors late in the game

anyhow...it's just one game.. o well

i agree with sidebottom and beams. not so much on stanley.

Likes of johnson and fraser have been around for nearrly 8 plus years and still are nothing more than bit players which is a bit worrying.

Johnson is probbaly more expendable than fraser for obvious reasons. Its just frustrating thats hes as unreliable as a first year player, id rather play beams and get game time into him now. We know what johnson gives us and its not good enough for a player of his experience.

Cox + Toohvey in the same backline is also bad, both can be ok as depth players, but i dont think theres room for both at the one time in the first 22.

And yet MM has taken a bunch of kids interstate and won finals the last few years.. the problem is the list, not the coaching.. we need a midfield

Imagine if we'd nabbed Judd. Hopeless hacks like Johnson wouldn't get a gig and maybe we'd start winning these games.

i hope collingwood dont wait till the end of the year to hire buckley, malthouse should be sacked right away he has the worst gameplan in the afl and is an old fart:thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd::mad:

He hasn't changed with the game too arrogant with our list we should be winning these games comfortably.

It staggers me how Beams never played. So much for preseason form. He along with Sidebottom etc will form our future premiership hopes. Not Johnson and co. I don't see how we benefited more today by playing Johnno ahead of them. Same old, same old.

I wouldn´t say our midfield is as awful as people make it out to be. We can certainly improve on it, but compared to Adelaide, we should have won.

I am not underrating the Crows, I think they´re top 8 material, but so are we, and we have had no problems matching up to them in the past.

The entire football world can see potential in our playing list, so what explains these insipid performances? Why is it that one week we play great and the next our players seem like they have no clue?

The corridor is a major problem, we seem to have such a predictable strategy that sides know exactly how to pull us apart.

Serious tactical problems need to be addressed and aligned to get the maximum out of our playing list. At the moment, this wide possession football isn´t getting the most out of our players.

Should´ve won the game today, poor, tired skills at the end cost us.

I agree re Fraser and Johnson. Making up numbers in our team, expendable.

As for MM, I am not just going to base this on one game, but I don´t expect Collingwood this year to be much different from the Collingwood of last year because MM doesn´t change. I think for us to go to the next level, a new coach that injects new ideas and refresh the playing group wouldn´t be such a bad idea.

But it´s still early. We had a slow start last year also, but considering our top preseason, we should´ve came out firing today. The fact that we didn´t is a matter of grave concern.
