There would be a lot of people on a budget that would struggle to find the $100 in-one-go payment you can only subscribe to XBL with.

The 12 month rrp is 79 bucks but its usually not hard to find it cheaper in stores.

Your point is fair i guess, but really, even if you pay 79 bucks straight up for 12 months, i pay more a month for my mobile phone.

How much is a wow subscription these days? 20 bucks a month?

You get what you pay for imo. When i eventually buy a ps3 later this year i forsee that i'll still be playing most online games on the 360. Haven't been impressed at all with the psn network from the time i've used it at a mates. Hopefully this home thing improves it by the time i make a purchase.
