Obviously a sarcastic title. I reckon I'd call 210 into a pot of 3900 when I'm ahead. Then again, with some of my plays last night, I'm not so sure.

How'd you end up?

And why are you slumming it playing no-limit holdem?

Dont you just love the one outters

what are the odds of catching the only 2 cards in the deck that can save you?

I know he has 2 cards, I have 2 and there are 3 showing.

So I have a 1 in 45 chance multiplied by a 1 in 44 chance.

1 in 1980 ?

.05%?

Someone feel free to correct my mathematics.

Assuming it's a tournament, no more betting action is possible, and players cards have been turned over:

2/45 x 1/44 = 1/990

so, 1 in 990, 989 to 1, or 0.10 repeating.

But you had two other outs, an A-high or K-high straight.

When you raised... did you think you were in front in the hand?

In all honesty thought his bet was too big to have the K, so I thought I was a chance, it was also a cannonball tourney (check blinds v chip stax) so one has to get a move on and risk some chips if one wants to place.

Ah, I see. Personally, I would have led into the flop with a small bet. Then if I'm raised I pretty much know I'm beat. It's a tough situation, though. I don't know why he didn't raise pre-flop with K-Qs in position, anyway. But he limped, so he could have anything... I would probably think I was in front there, too.
