Opposite Foot

Glad i am not the only one who has noticed this. Me and my brother were tearing our hair out watching the complete lack of non preffered kicking and missed tackles. Would love to have seen our missed tackle count yesterday. Again dont mistake this for me knocking the club our players because i think we are definately on the right track and am loving some of the work of the young players...just these little things frustrate me

Yep, I said to the wife that if we tackle Melbourne hard we will win, but unfortunately, we were brushed off in most tackles and the Dees got the soft game that they love, one aspect of our team I do like these days is generally we no longer throw in the towel when behind, as we mature, this trait is going to win us a lot of close games.

nahas by far the worst! he cant even handball left hand and will even try and handball an inside out handball with his right that just looks plain awkward. i have harped on this in previous posts before. nothing new here!

the thing that gets me if you practice these things you can improve in no time, and being elite footballers surely the coaches would have picked up these skill issues by now and working hard with them in training trying to get their skills up on these areas.

Problem is these days, they dont have time or are not permitted by the conditioning staff to practise these things, I mean have a look at how bad some of the full forwards kick these days, the players virtually have to sneak off to get in additional practise, but I agree it's something that all players should be able to do.

you will realise most players in most teams cant kick off both feet, let alone off their preferred foot.
