Essendon list with Richmonds effort = flag team
Hahahhahahahahaha don't think so buddy hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Fully agree - our list is far more talented, has less structural issues (more balance and depth in key posts) but we are below them.
More depth hey, you had 19 listed AFL players in the ressies and our injury riddled depleted depth rolled you. More talented, lets see
Richmond: 1 ruckman, 1 KPF, Grigg and Caddy pinching in the ruck, all our talls are sidelined, injuries as well, evidenced by only 10 listed in the VFL side and we are 9-5 and 4th.
Essendon: no injuries as evidenced by 19 listed in the VFL, you have ruckman, you have talls and you are 6-8 and 11th oh by the way you are also the 4h oldest list in the league. Nope i'd say Richmond is more talented because if we had no injuries and a forward line we more than likely be clear on top of the ladder.

I can't find a better source at the moment, but there's also this:

Really Matthew, this is the type of crap that gets spewed out from the druggie loving media and luckily for all of us the druggie players, club and fans actually believe it, no one drinks their own bathwater more than druggie players who get their reputations enhanced by the druggie loving media because the more the media keep gving them an out the more they will keep failing and lets hope it continues.

Their is plenty more comedy gold over there if you wander over, every thread is full of it.

And this is why the Port autopsy thread was such good reading. Not one hint of 'we got beaten by a shit team' or 'ffs it was Richmond'. Just honest appraisal.
Go onto the Blues board and it was 'can't wait until we fly past them next year' blah blah.

From the tribunal, he has to be joking

Houli comparison
Findlay has asked the Tribunal to compare the incident to Bachar Houli's offence, given the gradings were the same.

Houli received four matches on an AFL appeal.

They're not wrong.

One was a backwards arm swing that knocked a guy out, receiving 4 weeks. One was a front on deliberate punch to the head that knocked a guy out. If you compare them the latter is much worse and the penalty should show that.

Yep, slightly OT but I've always found Port supporters to be "real" footy supporters. Feral as all hell once the game starts but fantastic before and afterwards. I went to the infamous elim final a few years back, they were fantastic pregame, friendly banter but very encompassing of the tiger army that travelled, once the game started they were as feral and loud as anyone and obviously post game were good value. But even after losses Ive always found them to be respectful

Blues, bombers and dees supporters are just deluded

I took it as a comparison on gradings and a ask for a simular penalty

Apart from the all the Chaplin hate pregame at the elim, their fans are very much ours. Feral as all hell, but pretty fair and not afraid to roast the team or the coach when they feel they deserve it.
Been to SA for a lot of games. Never one iota of a problem at Port games from my perspective.
Crows are a different breed altogether.

There is a thread on the lolnorf board stating that they should get a priority pick. lol
hahahahahahahaahahaha. Self pitying knobs.

couldnt agree more

The club should seriously consider applying for a priority pick in 2017.

The current list depth has been severely affected by staying consistently competitive thus never netting high end draft talent and has also been compromised by attempting to rebuild a list during the onboarding of the expansion clubs.

The club has netted no consistent benefit from the father-son rule in terms of a volume of exclusively accessed talented recruits.

What the club has shown is stability in management and a commitment to the cause of 'resetting' in seeing off veteran players after a 3rd failed assault on reaching the top 4. This year the club has made a serious attempt at being competitive only to be frustrated by several close losses and a rapidly degenerating injury list.

Having never received a previous priority pick, getting one granted now would be a partial offset of the inequity of never receiving any AFL's on-field special assistance in the past.

Thoughts?

Was just reading that thread. Gave me a good chuckle.
The thread was also created by a mod. Low standards I guess.
