Egan, D Johnson, Rooke, Varcoe, Prismall...obviously Taylor and West would be replaced my Ottens and Mackie...

I tell u what all goes well for the future!

Id love to see Prismall come in for Byrnes...

We pretty much have a quarter of an expansion team not in our best 22 right now

I honestly think that our depth this year is stronger everywhere except in the ruck. The recruiters and coaching staff have done a good job to ensure success for years to come.

I dont think our ruck stocks are actually that bad. Hille and Laycock have bigger wraps on them then Blake and West and today Blake smashed em both and West is just beginning but to me i reckon he runs really well, and his set shot for goal looked pretty tidy.

Id love to think that his performance today mite give Blake a butt load of confidence that when hes switched on he can actually be a great contributor. Think i read that he got 23 hitouts, 16 possies and kicked two goals, and he did that against a bloke that Essendon thought highly enough to give him the captaincy for almost a year when Lloyd got hurt.

I wouldn't call Rooke and Egan 'fringe' players.

But yes our depth is amazing atm.
