Our Idiosyncrasy's

I have a few idiosyncrasies that come to mind, some of which may seem odd or eccentric:
  • Whenever I sit, one of my legs are always vibrating up and down as if I have boundless energy.
  • I'm not overweight or anything, but I'm always hungry. Even after I've eaten a meal I'm searching through the kitchen for more food to eat. Perhaps it's because I do a hell of a lot of exercise. I don't eat junk food either.
  • Before I go to sleep I make sure that the television is switched off from the screen (not the remote) and that the power chord to the CD player is unplugged so that I don't get the high frequency buzzing sound when I'm trying to get to sleep.
  • Like others, I use full grammar, punctuation and spelling when I send an SMS.
  • Like others, I'm constantly highlighting the text on the screen.

Cant think of any others.

It's scary how many things I have in common with some of you.

Volume control as mentioned before for instance - I generally have to have it on powers of 2 - i.e. 8, 16, 32, etc. Although 16 to 32 can sometimes be too large a gap (16 too soft, 32 too loud), so I'll use midpoints - 24, or even 20 or 28 (but that's as far as I'll go!). When I'm at someone's house and they change the volume I often get annoyed at what they leave it on. e.g. If it's turned up and left at 31. Argh! One short of 32. Of course I don't say anything - I don't want to look like a freak. :p

Over the year or two I've developed a habit of throwing around my mobile phone or remote controls. Well not really throwing them, just flipping them around in my hand - one side to the other. Even though this often causes me to drop them and I've broken a remote control or two in this way I still do it. It probably also contributed to me breaking my mobile. I've just paid $200 for a new one yet I still do it! The other thing I do with remote controls is play with the battery lid, sliding it on and off. And yep, I've also broken them or made them unneccesarily lose by doing this.

Oh and I often peel at beer labels when I'm drinking stubbies.

Yeah, I have to have my volume on a nice even (or multiple of 5) number aswell. For example, either 8, 10, 12, 15, 20.

I also have to maximise every window I use.

I also constantly highlight stuff on screen, and double click.

I also always leave things to the very last moment. No matter what it is.

I always end up tearing any sort of paper into shreads subconciously if I have to hold on to it for any length of time.

I make sure my cupboard sliding door is completely shut before I sleep. Wierd, I know :D

I have heaps others, just can't think of them.

Yep, I do that all the time. Even when I'm at other people's houses.

I also always play around with the volume of the radio when I'm in the car. It drives everyone crazy.

When making a stack of toast I put the freshly buttered one under the stack of un-buttered ones so that the butter melts while I go on to the next piece. Seems perfectly normal to me but I have been told it's strange.
