Passing of Mike Patterson

North Adelaides 1971 and 72 premiership coach Mike Patterson has died of a stroke at the age of 61.

Quite shocked to read this.

Of course he was a Richmond premiership player and later after his stint as coach of North Adelaide, a coach of St Kilda.

Pretty good car salesman too.

Jeez , I missed that. Terrible news.

I met him a few times when he was at St'Kilda...absolutely top bloke who just loved his footy and had a wicked sense of humour.
