i just read that hes retired

played 150 games for you bombers, and hes one bomber i have always respected. i admired the way he played his footy

He wasn't getting a game anymore - i suppose he's still a chance for another one while we're in the finals, however unlikely.

Been a really good team man for us - did all the hard things, putting his body on the line, playing well in big matches. Great pickup Sheedy.

Must say that strangely i think the worst thing to ever happen to his footy was kicking 4 in the gf. He was a top half back/wingman until then, but they always played him in the forward line after that.

Totally agree. When we came good in '99 it was partly due to his linking on the wing.
