Just got a quick question. Is Paul Chambers really as bad as his 1st 2 games for Sydney?

Yes! Well no - he is pretty good at doiong the hard stuff, will give his all, but the problem being that his skill doesn't match his heart - will be very good in the wet

Most people will say yes but truth be told, he's not the worst 2nd ruckman going around. He'll give you 100% all the time and will hold his own at ball ups and throw ins but won't offer much of a contest around the ground in the air.

Ah. You've discovered the meaning behind his nickname "unco". As mentioned he's all heart, but has the skill of a puppy.

As Bomber said after Unco played a good game last year [against North or Port],"if only he was a few centimetres taller".

Sarge isn't going to be a no.1 ruckman but he will compete and battle on all day. Like a lot of big fellas, doesn't get in the right spots to get the pill around the ground so if you expect him to do that you will be bitterly dissapointed. What he will give you is a couple of lovely palm offs a game (mainly from the centre square) and will always put in and have a crack and I think that may be the reason why Roosy wanted him.

Needs to work on his marking and kicking so you can give him time in a pocket as well if he's going to continue to play otherwise he will spend 10-15 minutes a quarter on the ground and the rest of the match on the pine. OK for a 6 man bench but not too good with a 4 man bench.
