It's time to bring him in for a 2 year cleanup job. He knows how to install a culture of solidarity, defence and success and to turn things around. He can make tough decisions. This club has been mollycoddled for far too long and we need someone to cut the excess out.

His analysis of where we are at has always been spot on. He wasn't shy in wacking Goddard and Hurley last year.

He can deliver us a ruthless gameplan and culture. Turn Daniher into a man. Cut the senior core that doesn't turn up.

It's time.

Roos needs to commit so if it eventually goes **** up he takes responsibility. Not some bs 2 year rubbish to pass on to his heir. We need a coach (if Woosha is not the answer) to fully commit.

Massively overrated. Someone like Balme would be better, but prefer there would be a process involved (driven by the Board, not the CEO who I'm not convinced isn't part of the problem).

It’s a no from me. What we need is the next Sheedy or Clarkson; a long term person.

Not a two year stop-gap.

Caracalla or Ratten potentially, I’m sure there’s some others around that have done their time as assistants and would love to get their hands on our current list.

Think we’ve got the talent mostly there, a few list holes but largely role player type stuff. We need a coherent game plan, a coach that can adapt to the opposition, and something our players can buy in to.

Go hard for Stewie Dew. Should have taken him over Worsfold to start off with.

I don’t mind the Worsfold appointment at the time, think he was the safe and appropriate choice for where we were at.

Should never have been given an extension as the long-term coach though, should have been a transitional coach like Roos was at Melbourne.

Roos? I'm all for winning but not at the expense of being bored to death. He didn't exactly lead Dees to great heights. Remember his last game of footy? He's had his time, get us someone who's hungry for success.

Personally I like Woosha and I'd like to see him coach out at least the remainder of this year - but - he needs to learn from Dimma and work on his weaknesses I reckon..

The pecking order selection policy looks flawed and needs a shake up. All players should be dropped for a bad game if that's what's required and a player anywhere on the list in good form should be able to go straight in to replace them e.g Guelfi has a shocker and Long plays well he's straight in - or shuffle them around accordingly. It's footy not the Australian test cricket team.

it's time to send at least 3 "senior" players to the two's for a good spell, allowing for them to come back in like anyone else of course.

It's not that long ago Woosha had them up and about but I think this poor start has removed any leeway he may have had to persist with all his methods. The time for him to make changes is now, otherwise a couple of bad losses to Carlton and Hawthorne and he could be in strife.

Not even if he was doing it for free.

The problem is you can't have another 'sheedy'

Back then he was able to take over and pretty much create the club his he wanted...akin to a soccer manager.. he was coach, recruiter, pr, marketing, culture..who knows what else?

That one guy in this new ages has been spread over about 15 different departments and roles.

How much actual swing does a head coach have these days? Probably has to run anything thru the board, head of football, head if recruiting, line coaches, dilute everything. He may get rights to game plan to an extent, player choice to an extent but no free rein.

Which in the end killed Sheedy any way, but that was when he was stale... Early doors we owe everything to what he did.
