FORMER Diamond Valley Football League (now the Northern Football League) secretary Peter Floyd has died.
Floyd, 68, reportedly suffered a heart attack on Saturday, March 12, and died on Monday, March 14.
He was due to appear in the Melbourne County Court next month to face 10 charges of theft and 11 charges of falsifying a document required for accounting, to which he was to plead not guilty.
Floyd was one of eight members of the former league's administration investigated by police after financial issues came to light in February 2007.
