suprised there is not a thread on this already. It now seems certain that gold coast are trading pick 5 to the lions in return for Brennan and pick 10. This giving Brisbane the selection before us and who appear to be after the next best midfielder. How does this affect our chances of landing the Heppel/Gaff etc that we really want ?

Was talking to Dan Connors old man today and he said that one of the potential moves for the future is DC and Lids will actually play the one half back flank with stints on the ball and the occassional move forward.
So neither will be in the backline together and that Astbury is going to be used as a permenant HBF

I like this, only young but geez he looks like a natural footballer, so composed with the ball and 9 times out of 10 makes the right decision.
