Round 22...placed 14th...any change impossible.

We Replace two promising kids with two other players (who I would have thought had run their race long ago).

Why has this happened ?

politics ?

special deal ?

sweetener ?

genuine selection decision ?

I don't understand this one...

Rodan, Spud was quoted as saying during the week that a number of players were playing for their football livelihoods this week.

I think that Sziller and Bidders have been given one last chance to plead their respective cases. Both have played well in the twos, so it's probably fair enough ....

I suspect, though, that they have gold watches awaiting them on their arrivals back in Melbourne ....

Also don't forget that Coburg are playing in a final this week. I would think that the 2 kids that have been dropped back would learn more in a must win final (even at a lower lever) than in a nothing game interstate.
