Bad Directsound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configeration Error code 8878000A

I have windows 2000 pro

Don't know how to use this ****y windows can any1 help me ?

btw it happens when I try and play something through winamp

Try adjusting your settings in winamp under by going to the prefences page by clicking on CTRL-P or going to options preferences.

Look under audio and the direct sound option, just try changing the settings around one at a time, such as switching audio device and test.
