Wells has it...he was born with it...that ability to raise your eyes and use peripheral vision.

BMac to an extent...his kicking helps him out.

JMac/Cunners /Boomer ..sometimes.

That ability to work under pressure or perceived pressure is something we need to address.

Doesn't explain all our turn overs. ..but sheesh...kicking it to them 20 times last night is average.

The thing that contributes to our poor decision making and turnovers is not playing even numbers.
The extra back early in the game allowed Syd an extra at the stoppages which gave them an easy outlet and time to make good decisions going forward.
Then to fix their extra at the stoppage and domination in scoring from stoppages we moved a forward up to make it one on one at the stoppages leaving us one short forward.

The combination of 3 talls, Boomer Thomas and Nahas just couldn't lock it in which created their drive from the back half.

How about we even up the numbers everywhere over the ground. At least for periods of the game.

Scott had a bad one in my opinion.

We got Higgins for this, is injured.

We got Anderson for this, is injured.

We got Garner for this, is injured.

NDS only has poise when he has time, didn't think he could use it well with the pressure the Swans applied.

Boomer didn't have the composure to kick the goal. Again, pressure got to him. Seemed to be lost all night and am convinced he was. Might've been tagged. Not too sure.

JZ has poise at times but that's only when he sees a open path, if he doesn't, the chances of his kicks being marked are as high as Swallow's.

Swallow has poise but gets caught up too often in contests. Is nonexistent in the outside and has a lack of pace. Rarely smashes through packs like JZ or Cunners. In space, running towards a forward he can hit up someone but he doesn't know what to do with it when he's under immense pressure. Bit like JZ. They just hack it forward which is fine but they rarely lower their eyes or look for a handball option.

Mckenzie has poise but didn't get it enough. Is he more valuable at HBF or HFF? Or even as a outside mid to hit up our forwards?

Jmac has poise but sometimes he gets it and has to backtrack because there are no options. Did this a lot last night.

Atley has poise but only when he thinks he can take the game on. Frustrating. This wasn't an issue in 2012.

Harps had poise, until injuries settled in and things got worse. Confidence destroyed.

Cunners is beast when it comes to poise and composure but goes missing too often. Like I've said before, if he's firing, we're firing.
