Has been excellent this year, the big strong defender we have needed for years.

He's also very fast for a big guy, and with good skills.

Disciplined and hard working, he has been a great pick up so far.

He will get a lot stronger. He was very poorly conditioned at Freo (like Simmo was) and Wallace said he looked like an 18yo skinny tall when we got him.

It will take a year or so for him to get his body the way we want it, then he'll take his game to another level.

That's going to be an exciting time because he's already at a high level...

Been a great pickup so far considering how much potential upside he has - he's only learning still as a defender and has a lot of strength and fitness left to gain before he fills right out.

I was very critical of us getting him, mostly based on what he'd shown at Freo in terms of attitude, commitment and ability, so for me it's been one of the highlights of the season to see him get off to such a good start.

I still don't think he's been genuinely tested man-on-man in defense on a top forward (and he seems to be getting hidden from such roles ATM), but regardless of how he performs in that department, he is the sort of running, attacking CHB with good hands which suits the type of side we're trying to build.

Doubly impressed with him. Firstly because he was a bargain and has been worth every bit of what we gave away. Sewcondly, because he's nestled in nicely on my SC team and averaging around 90 a game.
