intercepted transcripts, 4 crew pleading guilty, captured drugs, avoiding detention and refusing to acknowledge the law of the sea or surrender to a legal warship of hte RAN.

No evidence they were commiting a crime. They were sailing a ship and it was up to the police to prove different and they couldn't. Or do we charge Qantas pilots with drug trafficing if any passenger on board is done for drug running?

there were four who admitted guilt, the drugs were on the ship and the AFP intercepted and presented audio interception from NK to the ship , also the refused to stop when a lawful order was given for htem to stop.
plenty of evidence.
I wonder how the jury voted

at least 4 of them will have a long stay at our gaols and the ship will be destroyed as will the drugs so at least NK drug runners took a hit on that on to the tune of a coupla hundred million
