Problem is, at least Carlton have had the picks which actually gives them an opportuinty to rise up the ladder quickly

Collingwood hasn't had a decent round of draft picks since 2005, which because of their 3-8 positioning over the last 3 seasons and the comprimised drafts going forward, puts them in the 'near enough but not good enough category'

Carlton will probably be the last club in a position to capitalise on the draft picks

It's not as if Geelong had a raft of top five draft picks when they put together their premiership team. Collingwood's youngsters are as good as anyone's IMO, and we've been able to play finals at the same time as we bring them into the team.

Carlton, due to the fact that they have better upcoming players and to me the pies don't have too much.

Both these teams wont win a flag with any of there current players.

Carlton will fold before they even get close.

If you want to get technical the comp we are now playing is only 19 seasons old. That being the case we've won as many GF's as Carlton, and two less spoons.

In any case it will be the Pies in 2012!
