Have started a thread on here about dreams before, but cb looking it up. It's a separate topic.
Anyway - the question: can something you physically experience in a dream be felt in reality simultaneously?
Last night, I dreamt I was kicking the footy with a mate, while outside the MCG after a game. He lobbed one on my head (we were in the crowd so I knew people were around me), and I stood underneath it knowing there could be someone going for the screamer. And there was. (as you typically do) I only heard the footsteps in the last two seconds before my Dad went for the speccy over me, and his knee thumped into the back of my head. Immediately in my dream I saw nothing but black, and felt 'that' way you feel when you're concussed/KO'd - but I remember 'feeling' that way. I came too about 3-4sec later (in the dream), and felt dazed and was numb in my mouth and in the gums (have found I've always felt that way when concussed). I woke up about 30m later and felt a little like you do when you've been KO'd - just very physically sensitive and had the jelly legs going for a while.
Maybe I just woke up that way, or it was the placebo effect, but is it possible to experience something physically when in a dream? Hope that all made sense.
