I havent heard much about Under the Iron Sea.... its been out for 4 or 5 months now, and theres no where near the hype Hopes and Fears had.
Has there even been a second single yet?

My question is....
For those into Keane, what are your thoughts on Under the Iron Sea after 5 months?

that was gonna be my second question... but theyre hardly gonna answer if i'm just rubbishing them...

my question is out of genuine interest though...

Second single is CRYSTAL BALL. Not out yet.Saw them Live at the Metro a couple of years ago,GREAT BAND .........:)

Wouldn't actually label myself as a 'Keane Fan'. Don't mind them but wouldn't buy their album. A Bad Dream's a pretty godo track. Didn't really like the stuff i heard from Hopes & Fears.

I was impressed with Hopes And Fears, yet it took me ages to buy Iron Sea for some reason for which I'm not sure.

In my opinion its one of the more underrated albums of the year, its really rather good. A little darker, more complete music than compared with the debut, still heavily piano driven but much more use of other instruments as well. I'd recommend it to anyone who bought and liked the debut. Its a bit of a grower, but its definitely a more mature effort than the first one.

Would you still question why I like Keane now, driver?

No need.... you've answered my question

I actually really enjoyed Hopes and Fears. Still do. Under the Iron Sea on the other hand I just couldnt get into.

But my post is not meant to patronise, its out of genuine interest.
