Just got back from a months holiday, scuba diving in Albert Park, to find my apartment has been totally over run with quokkas.
I've no idea how this happened, I just know that I can't live like this.

What the **** am, I supposed to do? I can get in the apartment okay, but if I go near the couch they get really aggressive and I'm scared to go near the balcony because they get that crazy look in their eyes whenever I do.

I tried hitting them with a stick but it didn't work, there are at least 10 more when I get home from work every day.

The Mrs is well pissed off too, they're constantly in her underwear drawer and I think they are drinking from the toilet because they can't reach the glasses as they are well high up.

It's really getting me down.

Help.

I have a pretty good relationship with most marsupials, but these things are crazed.

So I went to Perth in 1995 and we visited Rottnest Island and had some great times with some Quokkas. The only downside of the day was that one of the little shits ate my ham & cheese toastie.

My suggestion....make heaps of toasties and throw them off the balcony.

Hire a quokka suit and put some lippy and heels on and see if they follow you out of the apartment, otherwise there are probably plenty of 'living with quokkas' support groups that you could be put in contact with. Anyway, good luck with it and I hope it doesn't mess up your relationship or your long weekend
