Are you? Where does it state that she is a headscarf wearing muslim? kind of changes the whole context of her article.
do all jews have to disclose their religion?

Are only WASPs privileged about disclosure?

I don't know what your issue is, is it her, her choice of religious garb, the article, or her religion. Seems a wee bit intolerant. Just a teency weency wee bit ;)

A little bit? I'm extremly intolerant of religion imposing itself on our secular society.

how is it imposing itself?

I think a tenet of a secular society is choice and freedom. Implicit is freedom to choose a religion, or not. And this article just highlighted the intolerance of some people's choice at one particular religion.

If you are pro-freedom and choice, you would be anti-intolerance at such choice. I do not see muslims wishing to impose any version of sharia law. The islam practised in the West, is not fundamentalist, by whole. I do not know where the resent stems, or who foments and confects such sentiment. Well, occasionally, you do see tabloid media raising a "spectre" of the other. But really, this is irrational. Islam is no problem to Australian way of life. The only problem is wars of adventure into Islamic territory as I see it.

So are you implying that the only thing wrong with the article is that it was written by a muslim?

If you have an issue with what she said, state the issue. If not, why does her religion make any difference in the slightest?

got nothing to do with the ract she was a muslim Freo. It was she was/is a headscarf wearing muslim. The worst kind. The reds under the bed variety. She will take our freedoms with her headscarf, and she will impose Sharia law by the will of her headscarf. Headscarves are dangerous!

I believe she is coming into your kid's school to teach them religion Chief :D

lol :thumbsu:

If I read an article about a listed company I want to know if the writer owns shares in it. Isn't that fair enough?
