Injury prone dud it's time to delist him at the end of the year,it's a pity we couldn't do a trade a few years back for a draft pick but I'd say he's worth nothing at the moment,on ya bike razor.

Totally agree...no value now...kids have surpassed him now and no benefit playing him at all...bye bye boy from woy woy

ray hall will not play another game of afl again. this is not cos we are going to delist him he is retiring at the end of the year due to a chronic injury. hasnt retired yet cos if he did king would have to go back onto the rookie list

Would have been good to get him to 100, he's a great athlete (tall, pace, athletic) so one of his future sons could be good.

jake king could play on gehrig this week and still not get 10 kicked on him

its guys like hall who are great athletes but pathetic footballers that make me feel sorry for the short blokes out their that have a million times more talent but were overlooked for duds like hall

times up!

The only thing that might save him is that he can be a back up for both defence and the ruck . Particualrly if Moore and Knobel get the chop. Graham too.
Having said that it wouldn't be the end of the world if they all go and we pick up a ruck in the draft/trade.

Nup... times up Ray. You have plodded along manfully for a few years but unfortunately being out for what will be this whole year, Polack comes in and looks great, Thursty is back and travelling beautifully, McGuane has passed you and at a pinch Moore can fill your role.
What's the contract status with Ray?

what a complete waste of time it has been with this bloke. Shoulda let him go to the Swannies.

I'm pretty sure he is gone and I think he knows it as well I heard that a club in Canberra is trying to sign him up for next year

Tough call. I like Raymond. He is the thug we need to bring in a bit of mongrel to the side. Happy to have him back when ready.

Yeah...
Don't know which Ray Hall you are talking about

You'd think the fact that if Gehrig had not kicked any we'd still have been beaten by 7 goals would register with some people - apparently not.

No other sport involving goals blames a shameful performance from the rest of the side on the last man in defense who spent the entire game under seige, much less if he's been rushed back from injury to take his place in the side - due to a lack of list depth.

Obviously some AFL afficionadoes walk to a different beat.

It may be true, it may not, but either way, I don't buy your reasoning. If Hall was out for the season (and possibly forever) they could just say so and not affect the rookie list one iota. He can still retire at season's end and (god forbid) the supporters would have a clear idea of what's going on - rather than Hall being listed as "3 weeks away" for the first 6 weeks of the season, then "indefinite" after that.

It's either just another example of the club unnecessarily buggering around with the supporters and the career of players, or your information is incorrect.

Either way, I'll wait for the official announcement before I believe either version thanks.
