2,500 on the nose for the week. I had some big scores and some poor ones. O'Keefe (159) and NicNat (163) were my big ones. Had 5 midfielders score between 124 and 135 (was missing J.Selwood). Had quite a few in the 70 area like Birchall, Franklin, Harvey and Giles as well as Suckling who was my lowest scorer for the week. But i can't really complain, i'm averaging 2,485 over the last 5 weeks since i stopped copping donuts. lol

My aim was to match or improve on my previous year so am pretty happy of where I am now. Personally I find the difference between 2000 and 500(when they finish the year with similar looking teams) is that 500 took extra risks and made moves 2-3 weeks ahead of the pack.
An example of this for me this year would be taking Beams(Over Pavlich at the same price who I traded into my side in round 13 just in time for his hot patch) around round 5. Was a calculated risk taking into account him benefiting from Luke Ball being out and his history of big scores to the end of the previous year. He went on to perform better than anyone would have expected and I had him pumping out the scores for 6-8 weeks longer than most. Now everyone has him.

Best of luck for cracking the top 500 in 2013. Btw sat outside top 100000 after round 2. Seems a long time ago now.

Ha! Yeah I was lucky enough to get him in round 10, though I really wanted but couldn't afford sidebottom who was about 600k at the time. Definitely agree with you, this year I've traded my way to good scores but I need to get it right from the outset and take more risks with my starting team to get the jump on the rest. If I can do that and avoid the freakin' major injures (I had to trade Mumford, McIntosh, Fyfe, Murphy, Zaha) I'll hopefully do a lot better.

Finished with 2141 this round.

Ranked about 7500 overall and still in the Top 100 of the Internationals.

Only second year playing Supercoach. Was aiming top 30K given last year I finished in the top 80K, but I'm happy to finish within the top 10K this year.

Learning more every year.

It's been a learning experience having lived out of Australia for the last 8 years.

I'm stoked and shattered at the same time. Scored 2,709! Second highest for the week... 12 points off scoring the $1000! 12 bloody points! Pretty much squeezed everything out of my team though, with all of my bench players being the lowest scoring in the team, the only thing I could have changed was picking someone other than Ablett as captain (which I haven't done all year, excluding when he was out).

Oh yeah also up to 287 overall. Was aiming for top 500 this year so am wrapped!

Pav out, Zorko emergency!
2360 and in both my GF, going for back to back to back (aka threepeat) in works league!

Scored 2537 to win both my games. Decided to put the C on Dangerfield which looked like an absolute disaster, but he managed to barely get in triple digits to make it a touch better. First time all year i've taken the C off Ablett, so it's going back to him next week. Also traded Joel Selwood for Tex Walker, who scored big, so I was pleased with that. Had some crummy scores in the 70's with Franklin, Harvey and Watson, but made up for it in other areas.

Now ranked 1051 overall, i'm gunning for a top 1000 finish, would be my best result ever.
