Hey fellas,

just wondering what things were like in sydney land at the moment, or more to the point wondering if you have accepted your fate being that 2007 will be a year the swans would rather forget as they take on the role of being the new basket case of the AFL!! I mean it just astounds me that so many of you still rate the team so highly, after looking over that list I'd rather shoot myself in the leg than take on the swans coaching role in 07. Shame on every other club in the comp that the swans have made it so far the last couple of years, although I suppose all that AFL money plus a few decent players that were pinched from elsewhere got you over the line.

It's a delicious irony that they tried to take us over in 1993. Since then it's 14-4 our way.

Maybe we should make them an offer. From memory they wanted our debts cancelled, their pick of any players we had and they would play all of their away games in Sydney. The club would remain the Carlton Blues, though, with their own colours and jumper.

I'm sure we could accomodate Gibbs, Murphy, Waite et al, whilst our Melbourne fans would welcome eleven games down here again.

This bloke needs an infraction from the moderators. After all I got one from a Carlton moderator after saying that Carlton sold out when they moved from Princes Park to the Telstra Dome.

And speaking of money. What about the money that Carlton has received from the AFL? 10 times more than Sydney ever received. Get off your ********ing high horse and moderators do yourself a favour and give this bloke a yellowcard

Don't bag a club in these forums. That's why I got a warning from a Carlton moderator when I was only making a sarcastic comment. I was defending the Swans like I always will.
