Hi all,
was just in "my pictures" and noticed that I have different folders missing from my os trip. It seems wierd that all files from "D" to "O" in this folder were missing, but anyway.
I have recovered most of the lost images from backups but am still missing photos from the greek islands and Ireland. I was just wondering what people think the chances are of me recovering them? Should I do it myself of just get prof help? The files have been missing for possibly quite some time (uncertain how long but possible 1week to months) is there any hope???
These photos are very important to me because they are of me at my boozy best.
any info (detailed better) most welcome!

There are diff programs and things you could perhaps try.

I use a quick and simple program called Recuva. Its made by the same ppl that make ccleaner, another good quick simple clean program, perhaps you should try it incase someone accessed ur comp and deleted the files or u accidentally deleted them urself without knowing.

Download it from www.filehippo.com, plenty good freeware and other things there.

Also, important personal files such as photos and movies and other hard to replace items should be backed up onto external hard drives and dvd's for times like these, 1 copy is not enough. Good luck

thanks very much for your info. Just on the last point, I thought I had everything backed up untill this point. I had about 4 trips in a very short period and thought everything was backed up (as most was). It seems I was wrong. Thanks again for your help
