I am amazed at times that he continues to get games for us. The free kick against him in the first quarter was stupid and cost us a goal, yet I didn't even see the runner to out to him.

I counted three handballs he had that missed their target (all under no pressure) and a couple more with pressure on him. I want to know if this is just me or do others question why he isn't getting dropped.

What did he do at the start, i was too busy watching the centre square and missed the action. Was it just push and shove and the umpire big noted himself, or did he actually punch Fisher?

I could not disagree more. He was damn good against the best team in the league. Aside from the couple of clangers you mentioned I thought he played well.

The stats show this too.. four tackles, a 79 % effeciency rating , 13 HB, 6 Kicks.

He was hard at it and would not be intimidated by the Saints.. Vital to the win..

Really love watching him play. Sometimes does silly things but football is still an aggressive sport and his character and build is important if we are gonna be competitive. Fast for a big boy also.

Has really kicked off his season again.

Been highly competitive in the past two weeks, especially with his strength in the contested area.

Once he gets on the outside, he's got handy pace that allows him to break out the pack.

Handy player.

Good depth player, but hopefully Tyson Slattery overtakes him next year.

I think the coaching staff would like his versatility. That can't be under rated.

Would like to see Hooker settled at CHB for next week and shove NLM into the ruck ala Brisbane. No matter who goes up, we'll get smashed in the hitouts, NLM will at least provide some grunt when the ball hits the deck and help out Jobe.

Need Hurley to stay forward and keep that structure.

Thought he was good yesterday... backed his pace a couple of times and got out of some tight situations... would like to see him do more of that... has got a lot of toe for a man of his size... Made a few errors (mostly handballs) and had the fumbles when the heat was on late.... but he certainly wasn't alone...

I like his aggression... just has to be smarter about it.

Again, like Slattery, i thought he was pretty good against the Saints. He was not bad against the Lions either. He is improving.

Had a shocking last quarter. Thought he was a bit out of his depth when put under pressure and caused a few turnovers but at the moment he still has a spot in the team.

I like his endevour, hes hardness hes dash but he is just a stupid player like Mcphee. They should be good but will never really get there becau,se they are dumb footballers.

i like him in the side, hes a bigger body which we need and also produces run. all the players make mistakes, no point saying he's the only one. although the free was stupid. i was at the game and i think he performed well mostly. his last 2 weeks have been good.

Apart from the few undisciplined things he did on Sunday night I actually thought he was quite good his run and carry out from half back was superb IMO. Unlike Davey, Jetta and even Dempsey to a certain extent who are still quite skinny, Lovett-Murray has the upper body power and strength to burst through packs and break tackles. I think every team needs a hard nut and a bit of mongrel in the side to fly the flag every now and then.

NLM and Atkinson got us out of trouble numerous times in the last quater because they were able to break or avoid tackles using their speed. NLM certainly has some brain fades at times, but he is very versatile and is capable of playing very good football when he is on song. Not a star, but certainly worthy of a place in our best 22, whether up forward or down back. He isn't too bad if rotated on ball either, although he has been given very little opportunity in there.
