I think Buddy might have in that SwansTV interview. Nice and quiet with just a subtle wince and a slight elevation of the far side butt cheek to give it away.

I don't think there's any big deal (unless someone has news otherwise). I imagine rushing to get a top player ready for one final is a different ball game to getting him ready for a season. They'll be taking it carefully hoping to keep him on the field for most of the games this year. Same for LRT.

It sounds so much better the way you put it. I'm always a worry wart and just want to see Goodes retire a player not as someone who had to concede. So I will take your and the clubs level head over my Star Wars "I've got a bad feeling"

I think after last year we're all a bit on edge about injuries. Post draft we seem to have 2 of everybody now. Extra mids, more forwards, spare rucks (OK a bit thin) and a bunch of ready-made defenders. Once bitten twice shy ? Is Horse closing the stable door after he's already bolted ?

When did we last use 36 players in a season? the shock about it was they all happened very early in the season which crippled our backline and run out of defence.

Mattner,AJ,Shaw,LRT that right there was our 2012 Premiership spine all gone in a short space of time.

I believe we used 35 players in 2013. But to answer your question, the last time we used 36 players in a season was 2010, then 2008. We also used 35 players in 2011.

So in summary, we used as many players as we usually do.

Oh intresting mate thanks for that, would you happen to know for comparison reasons how many we used in 2012 :)
